SOFLAM

One important thing when you play Battlefield is to take out enemy vechiles. And the best and most effective way is to use SOFLAM. SOFLAM laser-designates all kind of enemy vechiles and then engineers can shoot Javelins, (the last rocket launcher) and 90% of the time, hit the target. The laser designation makes the Javelin go after the laser and not after the "HEAT" so its not a heat seeker, it gets a "laser seeker". It works very similar like the tracer dart in Battlefield Bad Company 2!
Please use SOFLAM if you play recon! You get easy points and you help your team-mates aswell!

A great tips for killing tanks and other armored vechiles:
Place C4 infront of your Car and drive against tanks really fast, jump out and explode! Its a great way, try it out!

Top 5 Jet combinations

5: Proximity scan - Flares - Rocket pods

This combination is great against infantry and ground vechiles but not the best against air vechiles. With the proximity scan can you easily see the targets and with the rocket pods easily take them out. The flares is the best thing for Jet protection because its so many people that uses heat seekers.

4: Air radar - Flares - Heat seekers

This is a really good combination against air vechiles, especially choppers. You can see your targets easy on the air radar and take them out with heat seekers and the primiary machine gun on the jet.

3: Stealth - ECM jammer - Rocket pods

With this combination are you almost invisible for heat seeker launchers. The stealth makes it so hard for the enemys to lock on to you and if they succed can you use the ECM jammer so the rockets wont go after you. This is a very good combination and makes your jet really hard to take out!

2: Beam scanning - Flares - Heat seekers

This is the best combination for taking out other jets. It is so fast to lock with the heat seekers so its almost impossible for the enemy to survive because of the slow reloading time of the flares.. If your enemys are real good pilots i really recomend this combination!

1: Beam scanning - Flares - Guided missile

The number one combination which i always use is this. Its so effective on ground vechiles because of the beam scanning locking vechiles so fast. The Guided missle does so much damage so sometimes you can take out a tank on ONE missile! This is a really good tactical combination to, not only for getting much kills. If the enemy comes in a LAV-25 with much people in it you can easily prevent it or complicate their way to a friendly flag!

Top 5 Maps

Nr 5: Operation metro.

Operation metro gets the nr 5 placement in the list because it is a much more difficult map than most of the others, espacially on conquest mode where russia wins 85% of the time, wich isnt  very good odds to the americans. But the positive thing with operation metro is that it is a very tight map and you get very much points. Nr 4: Grand Bazaar.

On fourth place is Grand Bazaar, a city map filled with a lot of action. 

The biggest reason i took Grand bazaar on 4th place is that the map is so well done graphically. Its filled with detailes and look almost better than real life. The flags are in very good positions and its easy to get to them, but a little harder to capture.. One bad thing is that the gun-fights always are concentrated on B (the middle) otherwise its the perfekt city map!

Nr 3: Caspian Border.

Caspian border is one of the bigger maps in Battlefield and includes jets, and choppers. I like the map really much and its one of my favorites. The best thing about Caspian border is that its so much vechiles so the action is on all the time! The jets are amazing aswell as the choppers and they are a reason to much of the fun action. The bad things about Caspian border is that Russian troops can so easily baserape the american base from the tower and the grasslands beside the Russian base.

Nr 2: Wake island

Wake island is a map from Battlefield 2 that comes with the expansion pack for Battlefield 3.

I love Wake island and i play it almost everytime i play Battlefield. The map is pretty big and its a very hard challange to win if you are USA. What i love most about the map is that its a island and surrounded by water so you can sneack up to every flag if you take a boat. There is one thing i dont like about it and that is the F-35 Jet. It´s a very cool Jet but its to underpowerd and doesnt stand a chanse against the SU-35

Nr 1: Gulf of oman

Gulf of oman is my favorite map in Battlefield and also comes from the expansion pack. The map comes on number 1 because it has everything, City areas, land areas, sea areas. It has many big buildings so that is perfect for the snipers (I did a 1145 meter headshot). The map is full of adventures so i am never bored of  playing it. But one negative thing about the map is the F-35 jet. It´s impossible to get away from a SU-35.
